Site looks fantastic!
But I’m concerned with the hold up on “sweat” being released. I hope they aren’t back-sliding because it’s a good summer song plus it had great buzz. Now it’s losing momentum.
Also, I thought the album was completed since they had a listening party?!? Now she’s back in the studio, huh?? THEY ARE MAKING ME NERVOUS…. this era is suppose to be different. No push-backs, leaks, indecisiveness, etc. I hope they know that OWA will sell regardless because ppl miss Ciara AND C-Squad is hyped up! Promotion is all that is needed!

@Jesusfreak101. That’s the same shit I said… she just had that album listening party with the big record exec’s & bloggers… she had great reviews, from what I can remember she said in interviews that the album was basically down & she was doing finishing touches… & some sites even report an October release date… but then she uploads pictures on twitter back in the studio with JD..? No sweat promo…… no itunes…. no explanation! Its like de ja vu because this is the same tactics that has flopped the last albums… even if sweat wasn’t going to be her “urban hit” it could have still been a buz single with a video … @ least to keep the fans busy as she prepares another single w/ video already being shot ! We don’t need any BS this go around… c’mon LA REID…. us Ciara fans are counting on you to bring our girl to the top… I wanna see none stop promotion… appearances… live performances… & why doesn’t she colloborate on other artist records any more… we need see her on more features!!! I am a true Ciara fan and I’m only wanting the best for Ciara… I mean look @ Brandy… “Put It Down” ft CB got mixed reviews just like “Sweat” but she is still pushing on with the project & is shooting a video etc… we need results … & we need them now… don’t be afraid Ciara, just put out good music & us fans will do the rest… C Squad —–) Squad up!!!!!

Or maybe instead of worrying about what Ciara is doing everyday, you should find something else to do until she says something about her album. There’s more to life than Ciara and what she tweets, where she is and what she’s doing.

I agree…twitter has spoiled fans, they think they have to know everything that goes on with their fave,Umm hello she has a life outside of twitter.Ciara doesnt have to tweet us 24/7 everyday..Beyonce dont tweet her fans, but you dont see them complaining about it.They still support her..i just get tired of all the complaining from her fans cause its a waste of time and it wont change nothing.Ciara will continue to do her…Its her life, ppl need to spend more time worrying about their own lfie and what they doing instead of her and what shes doing.

No one is saying they want to know what Ci eats for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I have a life thank you much. I don’t even have a twitter. Fans just want to know what is going on with THE MUSIC. We have been given conflicting messages – one has pictures showing her and Reid partying at her album release, and “sweat” released online weeks after- then we learn she’s back in the studio. Clearly It’s beyond Ci’s control but we know what happens when fans are left in the dark early on. It doesn’t work to wait months after releasing a hot summer jam and not give any information. Like High_Price said, we have seen this happen with two albums now.

Thats the point right there. Its not cool point blank to leave your fans in the dark for this long, as fans supporting ciara it would of be more respectful if Ciara gave us some info or just said she decided to change it to a buzz single cause of new studio opportunities. Something is better than nothing. And just like past eras people get annoyed and loose interest.

The “OVERDOSE” snippet got good feedback form not only CIara fans/stans, but soem Bey/Gaga fans…But you know the haters came out hating, but theyre irrelevant and dont matter. Anyway the snippet sounded like an 80s Janet song. Very hot. I really want Ciara to slay and shut the haters up. Ciara is one of few multi talented artists today who dont get the reconition she deserves. I rather Ciara crossover and do other kind sof music and mix it with urban/R&B instead of staying in a box like some of her fans want her to. Its like If Usher, Chris brown, etc. can crossover to pop its hot, but when Ciara does it its not good enough.smh! ppl so backwards. They just dont want to see her do great. I want her to do amazing, and slay this era. I wont lie I wish we got the music quicker then we do, but Im not gonna waste my time compaining its pointless. Anyway, I know Ciara is in the studio putting the last finishing touches on the album. Ill let babydoll do her. CSquad forever

Hears a thought, the album listening party only included certain tracks, maybe just maybe C and LA just wanted an input at the halfway mark. thinking C jumped the gun a lil with releasing sweat earlier than was expected to appease some of her impatient fans, after all who releases music straight to Youtube, and only that platform. La and her Team leaked the Overdose Snippet to get a feeling on how it would be received. This Era is very Important to C and I feel as tho they are dotting every I and crossing every T , So she will smash everything. I.m just gonna be patient and let c do her thang. P.S. Hey guys, just could not figure out how to comment on the last forum. Missed Yall.
