VIDEOS : Ciara Stops By Access Hollywood & Talks About The Use Of The N-Word In Society, Her New Album, & New Single “I’m Out”

n word
Ciara gives a little sneak peek of her new music video“I’m Out”, co-starring Nicki Minaj, on Access Hollywood Live. The full video will be premiered at the B.E.T. Awards June 30th. While at Access Hollywood she explained her use of the N-word in her songs, insisting she’s having fun with the racial slur and it is never uttered in a derogatory way. She explained, “As an entertainer you have fun and it’s all about the context it’s used in. I am an African-American woman, so I can identify with that word in different ways. “I know where I’m coming from… If we have fun with it and you can understand where it’s coming from, then you can probably receive it in that way.”  View the videos below…

Ciara, I think you are a beautiful, talented, very intelligent lady however, I am a white 63 yo male and I find that the N word is offensive and degrading not only to others but I feel it is VERY degrading of ones character that uses the word. If its whites or blacks that use the word is low class and shows the persons intelligence and class level. I realize that you are a very successful entertainer and I love you but please don’t lower yourself to that level! I hate that word just as much if not more than the c— word. God bless you and I wish you nothing but success and happiness. Thanks for listening.
