Mr.Jive himself, Usher, is re-releasing his Raymond Vs. Raymond. The track-listing for ‘Versus’ was revealed today and he, Ciara, & Jay – Z have collaborated for “Hot Toddy”. The song will be released to radio on August 9, so it WILL BE A SINGLE! Who’s ready!??! HOT TODDY (n) – a cocktail ; is a name given to a mixed drink, usually including alcohol, that is served hot. Hot toddies (such as mulled cider) are traditionally drunk before going to bed, or in wet and/or cold weather. (via Wiki) UPDATE: According to Rap-Up, “Hot Toddy” is the follow up to Usher’s “DJ Got Us Fallin’ in Love,”. They also report that the track is produced by Polow Da Don, who did Ciara’s “Promise” & “Never Ever”.
In other news, Ciara’s 2nd single from Basic Instinct, Gimme Dat, will be officially sent to radio next Tuesday, July 27! The track is already #160 on pop radio! “Ride” is also expected to make its debut on the Billboard Pop 100 tomorrow morning. It is currently peaking at #85 on pop radio. Related posts:
